After breakout star Ronald Gladden and actor James Marsden appeared on the hit Amazon Freevee series, Jury Duty, the two reunited for ET as they revisited their time together on the documentary-style reality series. And Marsden also came with a surprise for Gladden — one that called back to one of their very first interactions about the actor’s co-star, Ben Schwartz.
On the show, Gladden thought he was participating in a documentary about what it is like to be on an American jury, only to learn at the end of his experience the entire thing was fake. Everything from the case, to his fellow jurors and even Marsden, who played a heightened version of himself who found himself stuck in the jury pool.
Very early on in the show, Gladden and Marsden got to talking about his acting career as the two waited to be interviewed as part of the jury selection process. After learning Marsden was in Sonic the Hedgehog, Gladden revealed he was a big fan of Schwartz, who voiced Sonic in the 2020 film adaptation, much to the chagrin of the 49-year-old actor.

If you were unaware, The 49-year-old actor stars in a docu-style comedy about being on jury duty that is coming to Amazon Freevee next month.
Instead of portraying a character, James plays a version of himself who attempts to use his star power to get out of serving on a jury. During a new interview, he explained what it was like to dramatize himself and how he used the casting as a chance to make fun of a certain breed of celebrities.

James Marsden doesn’t do things halfway.
The Disenchanted star, who has partnered with IWC Schaffhausen for years, admits that he’s a “nerd” when it comes to watches — and all of his hobbies — because he wants to know everything there is to know.
“I just have to immerse myself in all of it,” he says of his hobbies, one of which is collecting watches. “I have to master it, not to prove anything; I just can’t get enough information about it.”
Crayen newsComments Off on ‘There’s No Such Thing as a Beater’: Actor James Marsden on IWC and Sharing Watches With His Son
Actor James Marsden has come a long way from his debut role on 90’s sitcom The Nanny, having since starred in top-grossing films including X-Men and Emmy-nominated shows such as 30 Rock and Westworld. And like his roles, his watch game has also evolved over the years from classic sports models to refined makes by the likes of IWC Schaffhausen.
In 2020, the actor became an official ambassador for the Swiss luxury watchmaker after his stylist, Ilaria Urbinati, placed an IWC watch on his wrist, sparking his newfound love for timepieces. Two years after starring in the watchmaker’s Born of a Dream short film alongside pro-footballer Tom Brady, Marsden stopped by the opening of IWC’s Palm Beach store opening this week to help unveil the brand’s “new look” and a special collection of haute horologerie.
While the configurator-crafted Ingenieur Chronograph he designed for the manufacturer in 2020 will not be available for purchase, you can expect to find 700 square feet of bestselling models on display at the new boutique for your own casual and formal occasions. Marsden hopped on a Zoom call with Robb Report, ahead of the Thursday night event, to talk his current watch collection, being a Ferrari fan and his love of stories behind a watch.

Crayen newsComments Off on X-Men Star James Marsden Reveals if He’s Returning as Cyclops for Doctor Strange 2
We’re just a month away from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness hitting theaters and anticipation for the film — and for what characters it might introduce into the Marvel Cinematic Universe — is growing. With the film taking things into the multiverse, fans can’t help but speculate that it might also see the incorporation of characters from other non-MCU Marvel films much like Spider-Man: No Way Home brought in Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire. One of the characters fans would like to see is X-Men hero, Cyclops and now actor James Marsden is addressing whether he will appear in the Doctor Strange sequel.
Speaking with Black Girl Nerds (via The Direct), Marsden said while it would be cool to see the X-Men world collide with the MCU, he’s not appearing in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. He also joked that, for that reason, he also had no plans to see the movie.
“No… I’m not,” Marsden said. “S, I’m not going to see it. [Laughs] I mean, that’d be cool to see those two worlds collide.”
