Crayen news , photo Comments Off on X-Men’s James Marsden vacations in Banderas Bay
US actor and model James Marsden, known for his role as Cyclops in the X-Men movie series, was seen on a romantic getaway in the Riviera Nayarit with his girlfriend, British singer-songwriter Edei. They seemed very much in love as they enjoyed the luxurious accommodations of The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort.
The Hollywood actor and the young chanteuse visited Las Islas Marietas as part of their experience, which also included the two signature activities of the St. Regis Punta Mita: the champagne ritual, which consists of opening a bottle with a sword; and the fishing ritual that takes place when the boats arrive with the catch of the day so the guests can choose their own fish and let the chef know how they’d like it prepared.
Originally from Oklahoma, Marsden has been featured in dozens of action and drama flicks, among them Superman Returns and The Notebook.

Crayen news , photo Comments Off on Westworld: New details emerge on HBO drama
EW has four new looks at HBO’s buzzy new fall drama Westworld. Below are are quartet of exclusive images and comments from the cast about the sci-fi Western, which chronicles a futuristic theme park where robotic “hosts” entertain human guests.
Let’s start first with this shot of star Anthony Hopkins. Turns out Game of Thrones isn’t the only HBO drama with a wall of faces – Hopkins’ Dr. Robert Ford, who runs the park, also has a creepy face-wall behind his desk. Hopkins says producers initially described his role as cross between Walt Disney and Dr. Frankenstein. “He wants to create a pure dystopia or utopia, but he begins to realize that he’s lost track of it,” Hopkins says.
Here’s Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood), a naive prairie girl “host” who gradually begins to realize her reality might not be what it seems. For the actors, playing androids is particularly challenging because everything a host does must have some logical purpose. “Every little beat, every moment and every flicker of your eye means something,” Wood says.

Crayen news Comments Off on Toby Kebbell, James Marsden, Lucy Punch Join Whitney Cummings’ “The Female Brain”
EXCLUSIVE: Ben-Hur‘s Toby Kebbell, X-Men‘s James Marsden and Bad Teacher‘s Lucy Punch have joined Sofia Vergara and others in the cast of Whitney Cummings’ comedy The Female Brain. Based on the book by neuro-psychiatrist Louann Brizendine, Female Brain looks at the inner workings and complex power of brain chemistry among couples at different stages of their relationships and focuses on five couples who are struggling with each other — whether its commitments issues, parenting or simply admitting to being useless around the house.
Cummings is also starring and making her directorial debut on the project after adapting the book with Neal Brennan. The film is being financed by Black Bicycle Entertainment and produced by Erika Olde and Night and Day Pictures’ Michael Roiff, who earlier this year was nominated for four Tony Awards.
Black Bicycle recently announced Hallie Meyers-Shyer’s Home Again which they are financing and producing alongside Nancy Meyers.

Crayen news Comments Off on James Marsden’s not afraid of bold attire
James Marsden always includes at least one bold element in his outfits.
The American actor began his career in television shows such as Party of Five before becoming a bona fide Hollywood star in hits like as 2007’s Hairspray and the X-Men franchise.
James is also no stranger to the fashion world, having modelled for Italian fashion brand Versace in the past. Accordingly, he likes to keep an eye on trends and isn’t afraid to branch out into new styles, as long as his look remains cohesive.

Crayen news Comments Off on James Marsden Joining Woody Harrelson In Rob Reiner’s ‘Shock And Awe’
James Marsden is joining the cast of Rob Reiner’s Iraq war drama Shock and Awe opposite Woody Harrelson. Written by Reiner’s LBJ screenwriter Joey Hartstone, which also starred Harrelson, the politically-charged project centers around a group of journalists who asked the tough questions about Saddam Hussein’s alleged WMD’s (weapons of mass destruction) which was the way the Bush administration sold the Iraq War to the American public and around the world in 2003.
The pic follows Knight-Ridder reporters Jonathan Landay and Warren Strobel, who after the events of 9/11, meet with their bureau chief John Walcott to get to the bottom of who was responsible. They find their sources telling them the Bush Administration is trying to tie Saddam Hussein to the terror attacks, even though there is no evidence to support the claim. As the push for war in Iraq increases, they bring in legendary reporter Joe Galloway to give them the high-level sources to help counter the false narrative of Hussein, al-Qaeda and WMDs. They find themselves one of the only media sources running stories countering the prevailing narrative. In the end, Iraq is invaded and their reporting is proven true.
While more iconic papers follow the administration line, the smaller-market Knight-Ridder papers try to get beneath the surface and serve the smaller markets where the military bases are, with the reporters believing the military troops in their markets were going to be the most affected by the decision to go to war. It is those troops whose lives would be risked and lost on the battlefield.
