What kind of mischief will Liz Lemon find herself in during “30 Rock” Season 6? There’s a new man, the return of Devon Banks, Kelsey Grammer as himself, Jack living his life as a single dad and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

“Liz is completely re-energized,” series star and creator Tina Fey said in an exclusive new NBC promo. Liz has a hunky new boyfriend played by James Marsden, but he’s not her usual type.

“She’s trying to loosen up a little bit by dating somebody who is a little more laid-back,” Marsden said. “That could either be good for her or ultimately bad for her.”

In the thriller, David and Amy Sumner (Marsden and Kate Bosworth), a Hollywood screenwriter and his actress wife, return to her small hometown in the deep South to prepare the family home for sale after her father’s death. Once there, tensions build in their marriage and old conflicts re-emerge with the locals, including Amy’s ex-boyfriend Charlie (Alexander Skarsgård), leading to a violent confrontation.
