X-Men star James Marsden will portray U.S. President John F. Kennedy in director LEE DANIELS’ EUGENE ALLEN biopic.

The Butler chronicles Allen’s life as the White House manservant to eight American leaders and their families.

Forest Whitaker will play the title role and Oprah Winfrey his wife, while the all-star cast also includes Minka Kelly (Jackie Kennedy), Alan Rickman (Ronald Reagan), Jane Fonda (Nancy Reagan) and Robin Williams (Dwight D. Eisenhower).

James Marsden’s next mission will be to order Mark Wahlberg around, as the thesp has signed on to play a naval commander in Universal’s “Two Guns.”

Pic stars Wahlberg and Denzel Washington as a Navy SEAL and a DEA agent, respectively, who work together despite not knowing that the each is doing so undercover. When the duo steal millions from the CIA, they discover double-crossing associates who will do anything to retrieve the money.
